RSM Manager Vicky and long time Member and Volunteer, Betty were interviewed by BBC Radio Sussex this morning to comment on the government’s withdrawal of funding to Age UK and similar charities supporting the elderly.
They discussed the importance of having a trusted friend in the community, especially for older people who may be lonely or worried about things such as the cost of living.
