On Saturday 16th September 2023 over 35 members of the community turned out, some with their dogs, to complete our third annual Memory Walk to raise funds for the Alzheimers Society.
As in previous years there were two routes on offer, but as the weather was so lovely, almost all opted for the longer route across the golf course and over the fields towards Crowborough. Walkers were treated to a wonderful pitstop halfway where they were treated to delicious refreshments and water for the pups!
We returned to the finishing line at the Kings Arms pub, who had very kindly provided refreshments and food at a discount for the walkers.
The tally has yet to be totted up but we are confident we have raised at least as much money as last year, all of which will be donated to the Alzheimers Society.
