Seven members of our knitters and natterers group have done themselves proud by knitting a VERY VERY VERY long scarf – 108 feet long in fact! But why? Well it is to help raise awareness about Lewy Body dementia, the second most common type of dementia in older people, and something close to our hearts.
On 17th October 2024, the Lewy Body Society are wrapping Central Hall, Manchester in a huge scarf, 108 feet of it knitted here in Rotherfield.
