It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our colleague and lovely friend, Lou Powell, who has died following a short illness on 24th May 2025. We want to thank everyone who has been so kind to us, giving cards, hugs and many cups of tea.
Lou joined the RSM team in May 2022 to provide support when our permanent staff were on holiday or unwell and quickly became a permanent fixture! She edited our two monthly newsletters – Money Matters and Beat the Scammers designed to help our members stay safe. Over the past few years she had been caring for her mother who has Alzheimer’s and was a leading and active member of our Time to Talk group.
Above all, Lou was a family woman and our thoughts are with Mark and their family as they come to terms with their loss.
We shall be saying goodbye to Lou at a celebration of her life service on 18th June 2025. Please call the office if you would like further details.
