Forget-Me-Not Collaboration

Each year during Dementia Awareness Week we spend time working with the children of Rotherfield Primary School to raise awareness of dementia within the Community.

In 2024 they painted pebbles with forget-me-not flowers and ‘hid’ them in plain sight around the village, on windowsills and beside paths along with postcards giving facts about dementia.

Last year the children drew individual forget-me-not flowers, coloured them in and wrote a fact about dementia they had learnt during their ‘Friends’ sessions, or a lovely note such as ‘always be kind’, these were then hung on a fruit tree on the Millenium Green to be read by every passer-by.

This year we created the beautiful video below together. Please do help us share far and wide!
